The NBA Finals continue on Friday night with Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics. For the home team, Game 4 provides the opportunity to take a 3-1 advantage in this NBA Finals series. The Celtics had a response ready and waiting after getting trounced in Game 2 out west. Despite the Warriors making a run in the third quarter yet again, Boston held on. The C’s played suffocating defense in the final period, holding Golden State to 11 total points. Another win in Game 4 would allow Boston to all but suffocate the Dubs’ title hopes as well. Basketball fans will want to make sure they have access to both a reliable Warriors vs Celtics stream and Game 4 betting prediction for Friday’s matchup.

Below, we will go over our Warriors vs Celtics prediction, the injury report for both teams, NBA betting odds from BetOnline Sportsbook, a free stream for the NBA Finals and much more!

No one can deny that the Celtics had an emphatic response ready and waiting after dropping Game 2. Despite the Warriors being power-rated higher by most NBA betting oddsmakers throughout the entire postseason, Boston has easily looked like the better team through the first three games.

In addition to their core trio of Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart, the Celtics are by far the deeper team in this NBA Finals matchup. Each of Al Horford, Robert Williams III, Derrick White and Grant Williams played very well in Game 3 at home. It was particularly encouraging to see Robert Williams play 26 minutes and be able to make a difference on the glass and in rim protection. His presence is critical to the Celtics’ defensive game plan.

While Boston has had numerous players step up, the Warriors have hardly had a “Big Three” emerge in this series. Stephen Curry has been tremendous, but a sore foot could compromise his play somewhat going forward. One also has to believe the Celtics will make some defensive adjustments to counteract the high ball screen sets that Golden State ran nonstop in their big third quarter on Wednesday.

The other huge dilemma facing Warriors coach Steve Kerr is how to try and match up in the paint. Kevon Looney and Draymond Green provide size, but both players are also massive offensive liabilities. Kerr opted to play Looney for only 17 minutes in Game 3 and paid the price. The Celtics enjoyed a lopsided 52-26 advantage on points in the paint. With their edges in offensive depth, size and athleticism, the Boston is the side to ride with for our Game 4 Warriors vs Celtics betting prediction.
